WageTally is a native iOS application that helps hourly workers track their shifts and calculate their expected gross pay, including overtime, differentials, and role premiums. It provides scheduling tools and pay estimation features — nothing more.
All user data — including shifts, pay rates, workplaces, role premiums, and differential settings — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never collected, transmitted to servers, sold, or shared with third parties. Your phone is the complete and only storage location for your information.
WageTally does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-in, no username/password, and no cloud synchronization. Your data remains on your device, under your control.
WageTally does not:
WageTally offers optional in-app subscriptions (Pro tier) managed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Subscription purchases and billing are handled entirely by Apple. When you subscribe, Apple processes your payment and manages your subscription — not WageTally. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
For subscription-related inquiries, contact Apple Support.
The only external interaction the WageTally app has is with Apple's App Store / StoreKit infrastructure for in-app purchases and subscription management. This interaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. The app does not integrate with or transmit data to any other external service, API, or analytics platform. The one place this website differs is the beta application form, described under Beta Applications below.
WageTally is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this app. If you believe a child under 13 has used WageTally, contact us immediately using the information below.
This privacy policy covers both the WageTally iOS app and this WageTally website. The website does not use tracking pixels or cookies (except as required by your browser), does not build profiles, and does not run analytics of any kind.
The website is static, with one exception: the beta application form described below. Apart from that form, no page collects anything or communicates with any backend server beyond serving its own assets.
If you apply to the Ireland beta on our beta page, the form collects your name, your email address, whether you are a nurse or a midwife, whether you are paid under HSE Public Health Service arrangements, and confirmation that you have an iPhone. That is everything it collects, and it is the only part of this website that collects anything at all.
Your answers are delivered to us by email through Formspree, the service that processes the form. Formspree operates in the United States, so your details leave the EU when you submit the form. We use them to decide who to invite to the beta and to contact you about it. They are never sold, and never shared with anyone else.
Applying is separate from using the app. It does not create an account, and the app itself still stores everything on your phone and sends nothing anywhere.
You can email us at bfoster1267@gmail.com at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We delete beta applications once the beta programme ends.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of WageTally following a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
If you have questions about your privacy, how WageTally handles your data, or how to exercise any privacy rights, please contact us:

WageTally respects your privacy. Everything you enter in the app is stored locally on your phone — never transmitted, never sold, never tracked. The one thing we ever collect is a beta application, and only if you choose to send us one; we use it to contact you about the beta and nothing else. We do not have a business model that depends on exploiting your data — we make money through optional subscriptions. Your privacy is by design, not by accident.
